Short version: this site sets no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. There's nothing to consent to, which is why you won't see a cookie banner.

What the site stores on your device
- Theme preference — if you switch between dark and light, that single choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key
cardinal-theme). It's not a cookie, it never leaves your device, and it isn't sent to me or anyone else. Clearing your site data removes it.
Third parties that may set cookies
- Formspree — only when you submit the contact form. It may set technical cookies to protect against spam and abuse. Nothing is set just from viewing the page. See the Formspree policy.
- Google Fonts — the site's fonts load from Google's servers. This doesn't set advertising cookies, but the request does expose your IP to Google. See Google's policy.
No analytics
There is currently no analytics, pixel, or behavioural tracking on this site. If that ever changes, this page and the privacy policy will be updated first, and any cookies that actually require consent will be gated behind a proper opt-in.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Doing so won't break the site — at most it forgets your dark/light preference.
